Rofansiedlung, Ferrari family

The wayside shrine was lovingly built by the owner Josef Ferrari and painted by the church painter and sculptor Wolfgang Götzinger. The Lord is surrounded by the Rofan mountains, the Sonnwendjoch, and the village of Wiesing with its parish church. The wayside shrine was consecrated in 1997 by Alfons Lanser, who was the parish priest at the time, in the presence of the former mayor Johann Flöck. A psalm from the Bible was chosen as the motto: "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?"
