Anger Hochalm
The Anger Hochalm enjoys a beautiful setting at the end of the Karwendel valley at an elevation of 1,700 metres above sea level between the Grabenkarspitze and the Hochalmkreuz below the popular Karwendelhaus. The calcareous grassland of the alpine pastures is home to a variety of characteristic species of flowers, such as kidney vetch, stalk-less gentian, silver root and alpine sweet clover. During the summer, calves and heifers graze on the extensive mountain pastures.
