If you are looking for a safe approach to rock climbing, a secured via ferrata is the right place to start. The 4-day “Achensee via ferrata camp” is the perfect introduction to climbing via ferrata. Get the best tips and tricks from the pros – and experience a completely different kind of summit victory!

The Achensee region is rightly one of Tirol’s most popular climbing areas. In the Rofan and Karwendel mountains, which surround Tirol's largest lake, you will find a huge range of exciting via ferratas. A special highlight is the 5-summit via ferrata. It is one of Austria’s longest via ferratas and takes climbers to the most distinctive mountain peaks of the Rofan: from the Haidachstellwand (2,192m) over the Rosskopf (2,246m), the Seekarlspitze (2,261m) and the Spieljoch (2,236m) to the Hochiss (2,299m), which is the highest peak of this via ferrata. The Achensee via ferrata camp is run by certified mountain & ski guides who assist participants in developing the required techniques, knowledge, and confidence to climb via ferrata. In addition, the experienced guides share information about equipment and how to stay safe in the mountains.

The Achensee via ferrata camp 2023 have ended. We hope you had fun participating.
